Hi, my name is Beth Freschi (pronounced "FRES-kee"). I am a relaxation and life coach based in the Twin Cities ( Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN). I have a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Olaf College. With over fifteen years of experience in the mental health field (psychotherapy, research, inpatient psychiatry, and volunteering as a support group leader) and 11 years as a relaxation and life coach, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my personalized coaching work. I started A Time for Expression, LLC in 2006 to help people learn new ways to relax, explore possibilities, manage stress and experience more personal and professional satisfaction in their lives.

I guide groups through effective relaxation techniques to calm the mind and body, providing a "learning by doing" experience. Participants leave feeling relaxed and empowered to reproduce the effects on their own time. Through the shared experience of guided relaxation, my events help improve harmony and team building as well as stress management.
I find it very rewarding to work with people who give a lot of themselves in their work and personal lives, such as college students, faculty, caregivers, artists, and members of the helping professions.
Experiential Relaxation Training
Through in-person relaxation training sessions, experiential speaking engagements and guided relaxation recordings, I help people feel more balanced and at ease in their lives. My sessions and recordings feature various techniques: breathing, muscle relaxation, guided imagery and meditation to help calm the mind and body.
I work with colleges and universities, corporations and other organizations, as well as individuals, to create customized relaxation training programs to help people manage stress, sleep more soundly at night, and approach their days with renewed energy and vitality. My recordings are in the same format as the in-person sessions, so people can practice relaxation training at home, school, or at work.
As a life coach, I work primarily with artists and creative individuals who have a strong interest in the process of life coaching. My life coaching clients appreciate my objective, enthusiastic coaching style that encourages free expression and creative thinking, helping them approach their life and work with a greater sense of direction and purpose.
