Hi, my name is Beth Freschi (pronounced "FRES-kee"). I am a stress management & wellness coach based in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN). I have a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Olaf College. With 14 years of experience in the mental health field (psychotherapy, research, inpatient psychiatry, and volunteering as a support group leader) and over 14 years as a coach, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my personalized coaching work. I started A Time for Expression, LLC in 2007 to help people relax, explore possibilities, manage stress, and experience more personal and professional satisfaction in their lives.
Specialty: Guided Relaxation Events and Ongoing Training for Colleges and Organizations
I guide groups through effective relaxation techniques to calm the mind and body, providing a "learning by doing" experience. Participants feel relaxed and empowered to reproduce the effects on their own time. Through the shared experience of guided relaxation, my events and ongoing training help improve harmony and team building as well as stress management.
I find it very rewarding to work with people who give so much of themselves: college students, attorneys, artists, first responders, psychologists, teachers, parents, healthcare workers, and other busy people. It’s so important to recharge your energy; I love helping people do that!
Experiential Relaxation Training
Through guided relaxation training sessions, experiential speaking engagements, and guided relaxation recordings, I help people feel more balanced and at ease in their lives. My sessions and recordings feature a wide variety of relaxation techniques, including breathing, muscle relaxation, guided imagery, and loving kindness meditation, to help calm the mind and body.
I work with colleges and universities, corporations and other organizations, and individuals to create customized relaxation training programs that help people manage stress, sleep more soundly at night, and approach their days with renewed energy and vitality. My guided relaxation recordings are in the same format as the in-person sessions, so people can practice relaxation training at home, school, or work.
